Exchange rate

May 15, 2014

I always wondered why I had to sign so many papers and was given so many receipts when I exchanged money in Ukraine. When I went to the airport exchange counter to turn in my leftover hrivna, I realized why– they will not give you back your euros if you do not have those receipts. Of course I had thrown them all out. I decided that this was a sign that I needed to spend all my money in the duty free store! I couldn’t really find anything that I wanted, but I figured– red Chanel lipstick will always be a classic. Pretty pretty.

definitely a great use of your “leftover” money!! now for a picture of you looking glam wearing it 🙂

seriously why do we still have receipts (except to turn in unused hrivna, apparently)? every time i get a 12-inch long receipt for a $1.87 purchase i’m like noooooooo…

I agree with Julie… would love to see a pic of you with the lipstick! I like that red color. It’s so glamorous and bold.

I know! As for the receipts, if I buy one item at CVS, I end up with a receipt that’s longer than me!!
