Old believers

May 5, 2014

We took a day trip to Belaya Krinitsa in southern Ukraine, near the Romanian border, to see a beautiful cathedral which is the oldest center of the Russian Old Believers. Magical. (My colleague read the sign on the front that said women are supposed to cover their heads, and made me wear her hat…)

It does look magical! I love the hat. It reminds me of all the Kentucky derby hats that people wore last weekend πŸ™‚ Really beautiful photos! I love all the different angles on the shots.
