I shared some peaceful snapshots from my time in Ukraine, which is currently convulsing under terrible tensions and pressures. I will never forget my visit to Kiev’s euromaidan, the site of protests which overthrew the government and instituted a new one. By mid-April, when I visited, it was already a tourist site, filled with people with big cameras, young people taking selfies and entrepreneurs operating makeshift souvenir stands.     Wow, so interesting to see the change in the protest sites. It’s fascinating that you got to see this first hand!
