Cloud atlas

December 26, 2013

Whether the cloud stayed over the tabernacle for two days or a month or a year, the Israelites would remain in camp and not set out; but when it lifted, they would set out. At the LORD’s command they encamped, and at the LORD’s command they set out. (Numbers 9)

This verse has meant so much to me this year. We may not know where we will be tomorrow or in two days or one month or in one year… But the Presence is our home and the great constant in our life.

Katie, your faith posts are so beautiful. I love reading them. I am so much in the same place right now. I wonder where I’ll be tomorrow, next year (panic!)… and then reminded that I’ll be where God wants me to be. I need to listen and follow. The picture of the clouds is a good reminder for me!

ah thanks for your comment… when the panic rises up, we just have to keep remembering that we have a security that goes so far beyond our circumstances… you are brave!!
