Lunchtime meditation

July 15, 2013

The courtyard of my favorite diner has changed so much since March, when Omer was pruning the leafless rose bushes. Such a life metaphor, really. How much faith and hope do we have for the beauty of summer blooms in the grey times when everything is being pruned away? When things are blooming are we still ready to prune away dead blossoms to make room for new ones?
