For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know, even as also I am known. (1 Cor 13:12)

Precious! I love reading the bible verses and seeing your interpretations. I like how you take the idea of incompleteness and reveal only a portion of your face. What does this verse mean to you?

oh I love your comment, I didn’t even notice the connection between the face being incomplete!
To me … this verse means that God knows us completely, and that is such a comfort, and one day we will see His face and know Him completely, and it will be so different from what we experience today, that’s what we need to look forward to…
what is your reaction to the verse?

Wow, your explanations are so eloquent (thank you!!). It’s amazing to me that God knows us completely. Sometimes, it feels like he’s not listening… but, of course he knows, he cares and he loves us so much more than we can imagine. It’s our knowledge that is incomplete–why we need faith.

We can also tell him– God, I feel like you aren’t listening! where are you? speak to me!!! we’re moving towards that knowledge of God, but also the direct experience of His presence… the whole universe is groaning for that revelation of God… (thanks so much for discussing this with me… love your precious heart ❤ )
