April tales
Spring is a time for pilgrimages! Blogs are full of beautiful spring photos: Polkaros’ One Fine Day; Maps and Fragments’ Marie, hold on tight!; and Wide-eyed Tree’s Weekend Walk.
I am taking advantage of the sunshine to go on walks, finally. It’s wonderful to spend time outside.
Whan that Aprille with his shoures sote
The droghte of Marche hath perced to the rote,
And bathed every veyne in swich licour,
Of which vertu engendred is the flour;
Whan Zephirus eek with his swete breeth
Inspired hath in every holt and heeth
The tendre croppes, and the yonge sonne
Hath in the Ram his falfe cours y-ronne,
And smale fowles maken melodye,
That slepen all the night with open yƫ,
(So priketh hem nature in his corages):
Than longen folk to goon on pilgrimages…
Mhm!
Kako samo lijepo izgleda!
da da!
pretty pictures! love the effect of the tree branches.
spring is finally here!
My God, I can’t believe it! All of these folks when they talk April, they only talk of April as crullest month of all…because of T. S. Elliot. I thought I was one of minority to think of April and with his showers soothe to go on pilgrimage… š I can’t believe we share this one as well! š Nice story!
hahhah yes! skitnice moja! of course you are the one to speak about pilgrimages!!
