All the pretty castles

February 8, 2013

On a sunny day, we took a walk to a nearby medieval castle on a little hill. It’s a little bit rundown, but still quite charming. You can see it from the town square.

(I’m trying to remember to be a “tourist” in the town where I live. It can be surprisingly easy not to make the effort. heh. Personal goal.)

It looks so magical! I especially like the colors–it seems to capture that charming quality. I also find the different perspectives, moving from far away to super close-up, to be really interesting.

beautiful pictures… i can’t believe you live there! looks like the setting of a fascinating novel of a lovely, intensely intelligent girl… 🙂
