Blog e-course

October 10, 2012

Since Pilgrimography is in its beginning stages, I want to get off on the right foot. Be inspired. Take time to reflect. Get some advice!

I want to take a blogging e-course. Right now I am considering the three listed below– I’ll decide this weekend which course to take. When I finish the course, I’ll post an evaluation. Or my blog’s amazing progress will speak for itself?!

Rosetta Thurman’s Blogging School homestudy course: Costs $99. Includes 4 “modules” with homework assignments and a review of your blog.

Media Bistro Blogging course: Costs $350. Includes 4 lessons with homework, live video discussion, instructor feedback.

Red Velvet “Blog Love” e-course: Costs $32. 12 sessions.

Obviously, the cheaper the better! Still, the more expensive options include specific homework assignments and instructor feedback. Rosetta Thurman already gives out of a ton of generic blog advice, like her e-book, for free, and she blogs about the nonprofit sector, which is relevant for me. The Media Bistro instructor is the only media professional. The Red Velvet website is the prettiest, but it’s an arts and crafts blog, which is a stretch. Mulling it over for the next day or so.

I believe what youu said was very logical.
But, what about this? what if you typed a catchier
post title? I mean, I don’t wish to tell you how to run your website,
but suppose youu added a headline that grabbed people’s attention?
I mewan Blog e-course | pilgrimography is kinda
plain. You might peek at Yahoo’s front page and see
how they create news headlines to grab viewers interested.
You might try adding a video or a related pic or two to get readers excited abot everything’ve written.
In my opinion, it wwould bring your posts a little livelier.
